Marshall Tucker

A person in long term recovery from a Substance Use Disorder since September 1, 1988. He is from the Richmond area, attended the Engineering program at VCU in the 70’s. He is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist.  He has been carrying recovery’s message of hope to jails and institutions as a meeting facilitator for over 20 years and loves working with the forgotten people. Marshall is married with two children, both of whom are lawyers.

Walter Randall

Walter Randall was born in Portsmouth VA. After graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1985. He joined the Army to start his military career. He has worked with the Homeless population in Richmond, Va. over the past 15 years. Walter is currently employed at the Daily Planet’s Grace Street Health Center for the Homeless as a Certified Application Counselor. Walter now has 21 years of sobriety from any move or mind altering substance. 

Simone Williams

Simone grew up in Chesterfield county and went to Manchester High School.  Her father was a pastor and owned his own insurance company while her mother was a stay at home mom.   She has been in recovery since April 20, 2017. She has a relationship with her family again and has custody of her children back and her own home. She has become a productive member of society and is doing better today than she ever has before in life. 

Moses Wright, CSAC

He is a 30-year professional in substance use disorders (SUD) whom has worked in a variety of settings. His recovery date is 1/4/82, and he currently provides Board Approved clinical supervision to those seeking certificates as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor Assistant (CSAC-A) & Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC).  He pursues his interest as a Life Coach in recovery dynamics, especially areas related to Family of Origin, Shame and Attachment Disorder (codependency).

Kareemah Gray

She has been in recovery since 2-17-1995.  She is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has been a resident here in Richmond for 10 yrs. She currently works in the mental health field as a case manager. 
She has made it a goal to find as many ways as possible to make a difference in the lives of those in her community. 

John S. Finn, Jr.

John S. Finn, Jr. is one of the VA’s leading Realtors, earning an outstanding reputation as a pre-eminent professional in the industry. John is Managing Broker of United Real Estate Richmond. John's son, Antonio who resides Portsmouth Va.  John lives in Bon Air, Virginia with his wife Lorri and youngest son John III.

Denise Thomas-Brown

She received her Master of Divinity Degree from Virginia Union University and frequently speaks to groups about the role spirituality plays in the recovery and reentry processes.  Although these are often controversial topics, she has been welcomed by many different church groups, conferences, community forums and prisons to hear her speak on these subjects. Denise celebrates over 23 years of recovery from substance use disorder. 

Morris Bayton

Born and raised in Petersburg,Virginia.  Attended Hampton University-  Major- Journalism (dnf) Works as a cook. His recovery date is 5/27/18 G.S.R. for my home group... Member of H&I... Was Housing Services Chair for Oxford House (2014-2015)Richmond Area and he is an alum of The Willingness Foundation.
